FAQs
Lakeside Chiropractic LLC
Do you take insurance?
Lakeside Chiropractic operates on a cash-based system rather than working with insurance companies because we prioritize our patients' needs. When chiropractors accept insurance, treatment decisions often become limited by insurance company guidelines. Our approach allows us to deliver affordable, high-quality treatments specifically designed for each patient's condition, ensuring you receive the care you truly need. This system provides complete financial transparency with no unexpected costs. We're also happy to assist with documentation for self-submission to your insurance provider. How much will this cost?
Treatment costs vary for each patient based on their individual plan and health goals. We typically structure care on a visit-by-visit basis, working with you to develop the most cost-effective, comprehensive, and efficient treatment plan for your specific needs. Our current 2026 pricing structure is: New patient visit (23 years and older): $150, New patient visit (22 years and younger): $100, Follow-up visit (23 years and older): $70, Follow-up visit (22 years and younger): $55. Additionally, we offer extended visit times as needed. What makes Lakeside Chiropractic different from other chiropractors?
Lakeside Chiropractic stands out for several key reasons. Dr. Cole and Dr. Connor implement a patient-focused approach, prioritizing your health and lifestyle improvements while ensuring all care serves your best interests. Our clinic provides comprehensive, whole-body treatment because we understand that every part of your body works together to support your daily life. Additionally, we focus on both your immediate needs and long-term health objectives. Our goal is to serve as your lifelong health partner, helping prevent pain, improve function, and promote longevity. Will the treatment or adjustment hurt?
The majority of patients feel relief during or immediately following treatment. While certain techniques like soft tissue work may feel intense, all treatments are customized to match your comfort level and treatment goals. Additionally, we walk you through every part of the process and would never perform a treatment that was not preferred. Why do I hear a popping or cracking sound?
The popping or cracking sound occurs when the lubricating fluid within the joint is moved quickly as the pressure shifts - much like the sound when cracking your knuckles. This is entirely normal and doesn't need to happen for treatment to be successful. How many visits will I need?
The number of visits varies based on your health goals, specific condition, and how your body responds to treatment. Some patients seek short-term pain relief, while others prefer ongoing care to maintain peak performance and resilience. We'll create a detailed treatment plan following your initial visit. Can chiropractic care help with my specific issues?
We regularly treat patients experiencing: lower back pain, neck pain, headaches, shoulder and hip pain, muscle tightness and stiffness, and sports or exercise-related injuries. If you're uncertain whether we can help with your particular concern, we can assess your situation and determine if our services are appropriate for your needs.Do I need x-rays before starting care?
X-rays aren't always necessary. We only recommend imaging when it's clinically warranted based on your medical history and examination results. We utilize x-rays only when they'll meaningfully influence your treatment plan. What should I expect at my first visit?
Your initial visit is thorough and focused on understanding your condition completely. The appointment includes: a comprehensive health history and consultation, detailed examination and movement evaluation, your first treatment session, and a customized rehabilitation or exercise program. Will I have to keep coming forever?
Our objective is to help you achieve results and provide you with the knowledge to maintain your progress. Some patients continue with regular care because they experience improved performance and well-being, but ongoing treatment is always your decision - never an obligation.
